Better You, Better Ohio!™ – is BWC's new health and wellness program created specifically for employees of small businesses in the industries listed below:  

  • Agriculture
  • Automotive repair and service
  • Construction
  • Firefighter
  • Health care
  • Manufacturing
  • Police and public safety
  • Public employer
  • Restaurant and food service
  • Transportation and trucking
  • Trash collection
  • Wholesale and retail

Employees have the opportunity to get health risk assessments and biometric screenings and receive an incentive; a $75 gift card to retailers such as Amazon, Bass Pro Shops, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, CVS Pharmacy, iTunes, Lands’ End, Nike, overstock.com, Mastercard and Visa. This is a BWC funded program and there is no administrative requirements or costs to the employer or the employees.

Grow Ohio is a BWC program designed to offer incentives to new businesses in Ohio. They can save a minimum of 25% and up to 53% on BWC premiums. Since 2012, over 200,000 new Ohio businesses have participated in Grow Ohio and saved $45 million.
