Alan Milkis to Speak at Women In Business on September 13, 2018

Alan Milkis will be our Women In Business speaker for the month of September! We welcome Alan with open arms as the NEW YMCA opening is fast approaching!

Alan Milkis has been with the YMCA of Greater Dayton for 12 years and is currently the Executive Director of the Xenia YMCA. His first part time job as a 15-year-old kid was as a youth sports official and courtesy counter attendant with The Y in Kettering.

During college Alan felt a passion for the YMCA and its mission. So, upon graduation he decided to join the YMCA professionally and help further the important work the Y does.

Alan received his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Ohio University. He is an active member of the Xenia Rotary Club, a member of the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors, and the Vice President of the Xenia Community Festival.

Alan has a real passion for helping others and connecting people with the work the YMCA does in the community. He is excited to share the progress of the New Xenia YMCA at the Reach center and how it is going to impact local families for generations to come.
