Civilians Trained in Bleeding Control Principles
Why?
- They can provide immediate frontline aid until first responders arrive and take over care.
- Unfortunately, uncontrolled bleeding is present in most tragedies and/or injuries. Some examples include: shootings, stabbings, vehicular crashes, farming and tree accidents, and falls (especially those taking blood thinners).
