Dr. Loretta J. Mester, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, will be the Keynote Speaker at Central State University’s L.E.E.D Conference
WILBERFORCE, OH – The President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland will kick off the Leaders, Executives, Entrepreneurs and Directors Conference on April 4 at Central State University.
Dr. Loretta J. Mester will speak on the value of diversity in economics at 11 am in the Charles S. Smith Hall College of Business Auditorium. The speech is open to the public.
The two-day conference, sponsored by CSU’s College of Business, is an educational and networking event for corporate leaders, working professionals and students. Other highlights of the event include a Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Case Competition and a panel discussion on “Addressing Manpower Issues in Rural Settings.”
Dr. Mester participates in the formulation of U.S. monetary policy, and oversees 90 employees in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh who conduct economic research, supervise banking institutions, and provide payment services to commercial banks and the U.S. government.
