Seeking 2 Volunteers To Deliver 1 Day A Week

The Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center( XARSC) is seeking 2 Volunteers to deliver meals one morning a week on Thursdays, as well as subs on call. Great for a retiree looking for something uplifting to do just a couple hours a week. Meals on Wheels delivery begins at 10:45 a.m. and a route includes 13-18 stops to seniors in need. All you need is a car, able to lift food bags, pass a background and fingerprint check (required by our funders) a kind heart and enjoy helping others. Volunteers get a free lunch in our Cafeteria after delivery, plus mileage reimbursement monthly. Training provided. To volunteer please contact XARSC at 376-4353 and ask for Angie or Jacque.
