The seminar is free for XACC Members and $25 for non-XACC members and lasts from 11:30 am  to 1 pm. Participants can purchase a boxed lunch for $8.00 or “brown bag” it. Registrations are required and participants must be registered by 10/16/2017. Our presenters will be:

Gretchen Rives - a graduate of The Ohio State University with a background in journalism and public relations in agriculture, healthcare, public education and parks.  She has worked as part of the media and with the media with more than 30 years of experience in results-based special events.  Her experience with special events ranges from corporate ground breaking and open houses to health fairs, grand openings, awards banquets, clinics, fishing derbies, community seminars and even livestock shows.

Christi Cox - a graduate of Ohio Northern University where she received her BA in Communications and from the Antioch McGregor school where she received her MA in Communications. She has worked in both the profit and not for profit sector. Her experience with event planning includes: open houses, fundraisers, fairs and festivals, grand openings and volunteer recognitions.

Toni Overholser - is the Director of Workforce and Business Solutions for Clark State Community College.  She has over 20 years’ successful event planning experience with chambers of commerce and educational institutions. In her current position, she has utilized social media to dramatically increase event and program enrollment.
 
Alan Liming - the President/CEO of the Xenia Area Chamber. Alan has an extensive background in business as a retailer as well as business in general. He will explain how you can take advantage of what comes with your Chamber membership in regards to helping to promote your events.
