Living Well Clinic Hosts a Community Conference focused on Mental Health.
October 14, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Sinclair Community College’s Regional Center
IMPACT Xenia & Living Well Clinic have a vision to see our community collaboratively unified and focused on a goal that positively impacts the lives of all its residents and guests. By hosting and sponsoring the 2023 Mental Health Conference, Keys of Hope, on October 14, we work to fulfill this vision by creating an even greater opportunity for community education in the area of mental health within our region.
We welcome all who might be struggling with mental health issues, family members and friends supporting someone with mental health issues, mental health professionals, clergy and religious leaders, medical professionals, and community members interested in learning more about mental health and support.
Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Greg Delaney. Greg is a Senior Community Engagement Specialist for the Statewide Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center, Woodhaven, while also serving as a member of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s RECOVERYOHIO Advisory Council where he champions the efforts of the Faith/Recovery community in Ohio. There will be breakout sessions throughout the day covering various topics relating to mental health, such as understanding different mental health disorders, coping strategies, and self-care. There will also be resources and information available about support networks and organizations. We want the 2023 Keys of Hope Conference to be a safe and supportive environment to openly discuss mental health and faith.
So, join us and gain a beter understanding of mental health and the support available. Our hope is that atendees will learn various coping strategies and self-care techniques, connect with others who have similar experiences, and receive insights from experts in the field. Come and expand your knowledge and skills related to mental health!
The price for the conference is $25 per person and includes lunch, as well as snacks and beverages available throughout the day.
