Tee time! Women’s Golf Coming to Cedarville University Next Fall
Cedarville University announces that women’s golf will be added as the Yellow Jackets’ 17th varsity sport beginning with the 2024-25 academic year.
“We are excited to provide an opportunity for Christian young women to use their gifts and abilities both on and off the golf course,” said Chris Cross, vice president for athletics.
“Our women’s golf team will be marked by the same excellence and desire to represent Christ in all aspects of competition as do all of Cedarville University’s athletic teams.”
The Lady Jackets will take advantage of the University’s outstanding athletic facilities including the on-campus practice range and putting green.
Women’s golf is the first sport added to the Cedarville lineup since 1997 when women’s soccer joined the program. The Yellow Jackets have sponsored men’s golf since 1961.
