Storybook Village Ohio Village Sat., June 10 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Welcome to Storybook Village, where your favorite storybook characters magically come to life! Meet celebrated characters from popular fairy tales as they roam Ohio Village. You’ll also get the chance to meet some of your favorite characters from famous TV shows and children’s stories–including The Lorax, Rapunzel, Mother Goose and many more! This year’s theme is “Be a Water Warrior,” which is all about water advocacy and learning more about how to conserve our natural environment. Registration is required. Tickets are $16/adult, $14/seniors & students, $10/ages 4–12 & Free/children 3 & under. Ohio History Connection Members enjoy free admission but MUST reserve a timed ticket. Members may also reserve an early access 9 a.m. ticket slot.

Juneteenth–Jubilee Day Festival Ohio Village Sun., June 18 Noon–4 p.m.
Now a federal holiday, Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Originating in Texas, it’s been observed on the 19th of June annually since 1865. Join us for an 1890’s Juneteenth observation in Ohio Village. Featured activities will include historical interpretations, storytelling and dance! This event is free to the public and includes free museum admission. Advance registration is strongly recommended.

Site Event Spotlight– Archery at Adena Adena Mansion & Gardens Sat., June 3 Noon–1 p.m.
Archery was a common pastime for adults and children during the Worthingtons’ time. Join us for Archery at Adena, where children will be given an introductory lesson on the estate. Feel free to bring your bow if you have one. (No crossbows, please!) Admission is free and all children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
