We are Jeremiah and Carolyn Byrd, Co-Founding Directors of SOS Ministries. We are a ministry designed to rescue and restore victims of human trafficking and drug addiction, which often go hand in hand. We both have battled and overcame addiction and wanted to give back to others. God told us to give away everything we own and go into the streets and preach the gospel. We backpacked in 22 states over the next 3 years and saw firsthand how bad the trafficking really was. In 2019 we came back to Xenia where our mentors where and started a non-profit organization to help, primarily women, escape that lifestyle. We started S.O.S. Ministry Mission Field: The Streets of America a 501c3 tax exempt organization. We have rescued 277 souls to date, we have 3 homes and a Thrift Store & Boutique. Our ongoing needs is prayer, financial and supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry supplies, and cleaning supplies for the houses.

We also take donations to the thrift store such as women’s, men’s, children and houseware items on Wednesday-Friday from 10am-5pm. We are always looking for volunteers, just call 937-262-4100.
