As part of its mission to strengthen the local economy and promote community spirit in Xenia, our First Fridays team coordinates 3 events that occur the 1st Friday of May through July from 5PM - 9PM.
Downtown Xenia has a vibrant past and we believe in its future! In 2009 a group of downtown merchants started First Fridays in hopes to get people to notice our unique and amazing downtown and the great things it has to offer. Shops stayed open later and gave us a chance to experience the charm of our forgotten downtown. Now in our 9th season, First Fridays has grown into a celebration of what has remained Xenia's core for almost 215 years. First Fridays invites people to come and experience downtown Xenia in hopes to promote continued growth and bring some enjoyment to our fine city.
First Fridays is playing an increasingly important role in bringing Xenia residents downtown to shop and dine, as well as marketing Xenia to our neighbors. Over the past several years we have added a multitude of activities and entertainment to
compliment our event such as caricaturists, magicians, petting zoos, stilt walkers, bouncy houses, live bands and a cruise-in! First Fridays benefits the whole community by offering a fun, engaging opportunity to adventure out in Xenia.
In order to support the ongoing cost of promoting the event, paying for entertainment, and providing general maintenance and cleanup, we are seeking donations and business sponsorships to help the event continue to thrive.
We have compiled a list of sponsorships available and donations we are seeking for this season and would appreciate any help you or your business are able to contribute. Donation items and sponsorship forms can be dropped off or mailed to: The Flower Stop, 57 West Main Street, Xenia, OH 45385.
