Xenia Community Schools Foundation Hosts “Cajun Picnic” Fundraiser

The Xenia Community Schools Foundation is hosting a fundraiser on August 23rd at Devil Wind Brewing. The event is a “beer, wine and dine” including a Cajun Picnic-themed meal catered by Nick’s, along with music. Tickets are $40.00 each and a portion of the cost of the ticket can be considered a charitable contribution. Tickets are available at the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce, 334 W. Market St., Xenia. Proceeds of the event will be used to fund the Foundation’s “Classroom Grants Program”. The Foundation recently awarded $25,000.00 for 15 individual grants for the 2022-2023 school year. These grant awards include sponsored grants. The sponsored grant program is available to all businesses, organizations and individuals who are interested in supporting special projects and programs, such as the Muse Machine, in the Xenia Community Schools.
