Digital Watchman Partners with Emerge
XENIA — Officials at Emerge are excited to announce a new partnership with a Xenia-based security solutions company. The company, Digital Watchman, began moving into the Emerge Center in Xenia Township on Thursday. Established in 2009 by Greene County residents Brian and Karen Klingle, Digital Watchman installs and services a variety of commercial low voltage security systems, specializing in customized fire alarm and access control systems. The company services businesses in the Greater Dayton, Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas.
“Our mission is to provide customized life safety and security solutions for our customers with the highest craftsmanship possible,” Ms. Klingle said. “We were very excited when we heard what they are doing here at Emerge. We are excited to be a part of it and look forward to contributing. We really want to grow our company from here.”
Digital Watchman was established as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) by the Federal Government in July 2019. They said they have struggled to find qualified help for growth in recent years.
“We are looking forward to possible interns from Emerge, both male and female,” Mr. Klingle said. “We definitely welcome diversity.”
The Klingle’s said their vision is to be “Successful Together” from their contractors and customers to their vendors and employees.
The company’s technicians are all state-licensed and OSHA certified.
“We are regarded as the regional provider of quality security solutions,” Mr. Klingle said. “We have struggled to find employees with experience and now it’s hard to find people that want to work.
The company of eight began moving into Emerge on Thursday and will continue moving throughout the coming week.
“The Xenia Chamber referred us here,” Ms. Klingle said. “We were looking to buy a place but with the economy . . . we were excited when we heard this was available.
Elaine Bonner, Director of Philanthropy at Emerge Recovery and Trade Initiative, said the company is a great fit for Emerge and their expertise will come in handy down the road.
“We are excited to welcome the Digital Watchman to our Emerge family,” Bonner said. “Their expertise will add much-needed value for our upcoming building renovations as well as provide another avenue for job placement for our future residents.”
