The WHY behind our event....

I, Tonya, received a diagnosis of breast cancer on December 21, 2015, and my husband, Kyle, and I shared the diagnosis with family and friends on December 26, 2015. The year-long treatment plan was filled with surgery, chemo, and radiation.

During one of my chemo treatments my husband brought me a magazine which featured an ad for Vintage Market Days events across the US. I researched and found there was an opportunity to bring VMD to the Ohio area. We set a goal to create the VMD experience after my treatment concluded.

Our first VMD was held in November 2017, our vision and passion were to create an experience where you could come and enjoy a day spent with family and friends, laughing, shopping, and recharging your soul. Collaborating with vendors who believe in our vision and passion is what makes the event stand out. We were led to use our platform to give back to the local community by donating a portion of our proceeds to non-profits that benefit patients and families on a cancer journey.

The experience-

As you enter our event you will notice small details that help make our event an experience. We provide our shoppers with an event map and list of vendors which assist during and after the event concludes. Our entrance is themed, and we provide multiple photo wall experiences that change with each event.

Make sure you visit our FEATURE WALL which will be in BARN #2. The feature wall was a goal of ours, we wanted to create a wall where you could leave YOUR STORY, YOUR PRAYER REQUEST or YOUR CELEBRATION. After each event, our prayer volunteers take the requests and pray over them. We read every story and celebration.

Our event is spread out which allows you to walk between barns to see additional vendors, sit in our indoor or outdoor area to enjoy a treat from one of our many food vendors and spend time with your group. You will find live music in a designated location and music streaming in every barn. We offer indoor restrooms with full-time restroom attendants.

Our event offers free bag check managed by our non-profit partners, this allows you to check your purchases and continue shopping additional barns without pulling a wagon or shopping with your arms full. We also offer a free load-zone, our volunteers will pick up your purchased furniture pieces from the vendors and will store them until you are ready to leave. Once you pull up to the load-zone barn our volunteers will help load it for you.

Friday and Saturday are our busiest days, the energy of a one-stop-shopping experience is one you do not want to miss. Sunday is a great day for families to come and leisurely shop the experience.
