Clark State College and the Greater Springfield Partnership present Embracing Diversity in the Workplace

A three-part series dedicated to embracing the challenges and successes of diversity, equity and inclusion.

As business leaders and professionals, we invite you to join us to discuss the challenges and successes in creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for our employees and customers.

The series will take place over the next six months and is divided into three segments – education, engagement, celebration. This invitation includes Segment 1: Education with our collaborative training video below. Join our hosts Crystal Jones, Clark State’s Vice President of Marketing, Diversity and Community Impact and Amy Donahoe, Director of Workforce Development with Greater Springfield Partnership, as they introduce the series and our special guests.

Hear from Ted Vander Roest with the Springfield Foundation as he shares his experiences with the training Clark State has provided; Gerritt Smith, the Executive Director of Clark State’s Workforce and Business Solutions and Yolanda Stephens, Performance Consultant, who will offer a short tutorial and training to help launch this special series.

There is a short survey at the end of the presentation and with your input, guidance and feedback, we can begin to plan the next phase of the series with our Engagement segment which will be held in the Spring. This will include panel discussions, key speakers and the opportunity for you to have group or one-one-one conversations with other organizations on how they are bridging the gaps of DEI, as well as what challenges and successes they are also facing.

Thank you for participating in our Education Segment and we look forward to Engaging and Celebrating with you soon!
