The AMEC Publishing House and Payne Theological Seminary invite you to participate in a writing workshop designed to enhance your gifts in writing for the Church. This workshop is intended for writers of liturgy, poetry, prayers, and litanies who want to develop their gifts in writing for our church with a liberatory world view. There will also be workshops to help with content development and curriculum construction for church schools, continuing education, and professional development.

The cost is $349.00 which includes 2 nights lodging at Scarritt Bennett and 5 meals.

Keynote Presenter:

The Reverend Dr. Renita J. Weems, Academic Dean and Professor of Biblical Studies at American Baptist College

Workshop leaders include:
The Reverend Dr. Michael Joseph Brown, President of Payne Theological Seminary

The Reverend Dr. Teresa Fry Brown, Historiographer and Executive Director, Department of Research and Scholarship of the AME Church and Bandy Professor of Preaching at Emory University

Please support our ministers and laity by donating to create scholarships for the writing workshop.  Our goal is to offer (10) ten scholarships to cover the $349 registration fee.
