Pinecrest Swim Club Celebrates 65th Season

Pinecrest Swim Club will open for the 2021 season on May 29. 2021. Located at 520 Wilson Dr. in Xenia it has served as a summer oasis for hundreds of Xenia families over the years. The Board of Directors has launched a “Pinecrest Pride Adopt a Block Facelift Fundraiser” to help expenses related to ongiong upkeep. 1. Pinecrest is a private for-profit corporation based on stockholder memberships. Stock costs $240.00 and annual membership dues vary based on membership type.
2. One-year trial memberships are available at a reduced rate.
3. Pinecrest has a summer swim team. Non-pool member swimmers can participate by paying team fees and a $75.00 participation fee to Pinecrest. Non-member swimmers do not have pool privileges outside of swim team practices and meets.
4. Swim lessons are offered twice for a fee in early summer. The pool typically hosts two two-week sessions in the evening. Non-members can participate.
5. Members and non-members can schedule parties with advance notice and payment. Fees vary based on membership status of the host and the size of the party.
6. Guests – Members can bring guests. There is a seven visit per year limit for each guest. Families pay $20.00 per visit, and individuals pay $5.00.
7. The pool hosts several evening events, such as moonlight swims. Non-members can attend for a reduced fee.
8. Advertising sponsorships ae available for local businesses ranging in price from $150.00 to $500.00 based on the size of banner and number of years of sponsorship.
