We Have a New Prep Cook Meet Cedric! Cedric is One Bistro's new prep cook, and we are so thankful to have him! A friend of his heard about One Bistro's need and recommended to Cedric that he apply for the job. He loves the God-centered focus of the cafe and that we are able to selflessly serve our community every day! He has enjoyed working alongside Chef Greg, being part of a team effort to produce amazing food...especially PIZZA! Cedric loves pizza! So, come on in and say hello to our newest member of the team!!

Think about the last supper and who Jesus chose to have at His table for His final meal. A man who would betray Him with a betrayal that would lead to His death. A friend who would deny Him not once, not twice, but three times. Fishermen. Tax collectors. Nobody of great wealth or social status. All men who gave up their lives to follow Him. Flawed men. Imperfect men. People like me. And you. After sharing His final meal, He washed their feet. If you knew someone was going to betray you with a betrayal that would lead to your death, a death by crucifixion, would you share a meal with them at your table? Would you wash their feet? Probably not. But Jesus did. Who are we inviting to our table? What would our table look like if Jesus was the one to be sending out the invitations? That's what I want my table to look like. More of Him. Less of me.

One Bistro: where we LOVE like Jesus and welcome ALL to sit at our table. |

Share love, give hope, and provide a sense of community to our neighbors. Reach out and help to meet the needs of neighbors, both physically and spiritually. Serve privileged and under-privileged neighbors by giving a hand up, not a hand out. Provide healthy, affordable meals in a warm and welcoming environment. Eliminate hunger, build relationships, and celebrate community with our neighbors.

John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
