Please Join Us for Fun, Games and Giving Back

On Thursday, December 17, 2020 Women In Business will virtually party during their regularly scheduled WIB lunch time of 11:30 am – 1:00.  Registrations for the December meeting is open until end of business day Monday, December 14th and Zoom Information is listed at the end of this story.

A special guest is expected at this Party Like No Other as Ms. Claus is expected to visit, and we’ve been warned that we should be brushing up on our Christmas Trivia if we don’t want to get coal in our stockings from Santa this year.

We’ll also have an “Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest” for all participants. You must be in live video mode and will have a moment to introduce yourself and “model” your holiday sweater. There will be a vote for best sweater at the end of the meeting.

How do you have a gift exchange virtually?   If you would like to participate please drop off a small, wrapped gift or gift card to Donna at the chamber office by end of day Monday, December 14th. In support of our local businesses we request that all gift/gift cards be purchased from small businesses in Greene County. Donna will number them at XACC and take group picture of what was collected to “display” at the December 17th WIB Zoom meeting. Each person who enters the Zoom meeting on December 17th will receive a number and pick a gift. After the meeting, attendees can pick up their gift/gift card at the chamber office.

The Women In Business Steering Committee, has chosen Greene County Children Services teens ages 13-18 for our 2020 Charity Donation Drive. This group is often left out of other donation programs because of their age. You can help by dropping off unwrapped donations to Donna at the chamber 9-4pm each day until end of business day Monday, December 14th to give us time to get them to Children Services.
