XACC Seeking Hero Nominations

NOW IS THE TIME TO RECOGNIZE OUR HEROES!

Honoring outstanding contributions by Xenia residents and businesses, the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce (XACC) is seeking nominations for its annual awards that will be presented at the XACC Annual Awards Dinner on February 26, 2022, according to its president.

"The past year has been challenging for many reasons and there have been so many outstanding community members who have stepped up and made Xenia a better place to live, work and do business," says XACC President Donna Saraga. “We urge everyone to think about individuals who deserve to be recognized for all their hard work and dedication by taking a few minutes to nominate them with an award submission.”

All nominations, she adds, must be submitted no later than Dec. 3.

Any XACC member may nominate as many people/businesses they would like for each of the following awards. Nomination forms are available on the XACC website.

The XACC Awards are:

The F.M. Torrence Award:   This award is named for the first Chamber President, Findley M. Torrence. This lifetime achievement award honors a person who unselfishly, through a prolonged period of voluntary services and activities, promotes the business, cultural, educational, religious and civic life in the Xenia community. The recipient must currently be, or must have been during the majority of such service, a member of the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce.
