OSU Extension Greene County Celebrates 4-H This Week

This week is National 4-H Week. Let's celebrate!

Every year, National 4-H Week sees millions of youth, parents, volunteers and alumni come together to celebrate the many positive youth development opportunities offered by 4-H.  
The theme for this year’s National 4-H Week:

Opportunity4All.

We believe talent is everywhere.
But opportunity is not.
And the gap this is creating between our kids is only getting wider.
There are many causes, but it mostly comes down to race, what their parents earn and where they live.
It’s made worse by unequal access to technology, healthy foods and mentors.
It’s time we provide opportunities for ALL our kids.
Nothing should hold a kid back.
And if we all pull together, nothing will.
