Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce Hosts First
“Zoom” Professional Outreach Program Sept. 30
Adapting to changing times and safety protocols, the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce will host its first Zoom Professional Outreach Program focusing on “How to Thrive in the COVID Crisis and Beyond: Principles and Techniques for Success in a Home Business/Virtual Workplace” beginning at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30.
As more businesses rely on on-line meeting platforms and employees continue to work remotely, maintaining productivity within a home office and with co-workers is critical to workplace success.
Featured speaker will be Michael Anderson of Xenia, owner of Anderson Leadership Resources.
Anderson graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science and also holds an Associate’s Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. He has worked in the non-profit arena since 1987 and continues to study leadership and public communication. He received a Master’s Degree in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University in 2012 and is an adjunct professor at the Townsend Institute at Concordia University, Irvine, CA, and Indiana Wesleyan University.
His presentation will focus on:

- Fuel Yourself for Success
- Zoom-frontation: How to confront or have a hard conversation over zoom
