Greene County Non-Profit Grant Program - Applications Due August 17th

The Greene County Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) has partnered with the Greene County Port Authority, and the Greene County Department of Development, to offer a new grant program to local non-profits.

The Greene County Non-profit Grant Program was created to aid non-profits with urgent, or critical funding requests. This grant program was designed to supplement existing programs at both state and federal levels.

Five grants awarded for $5,000 each

  1. The number of people served by the nonprofit.
  2. Will the project resolve a slowdown of daily operations?
  3. Will the project resolve safety issues?
  4. Will the project include matching funds from other sources.

Additionally, disqualifiers include: operational expenses, research, fundraising, political causes, scholarships and faith-based causes benefitting only members of a certain faith.
