Dayton Dragons Season Update...and More

SEASON UPDATE
It has been a while since we sent out some information on the status of the Dragons season. We sure hope that you and your family are doing well and staying safe during this difficult time.

We wish there was more news to share. A lot of people have asked us, “What’s going on with the season?”. The simple answer is we still do not know. To open Day Air Ballpark, we still need the Governor’s order on large gatherings to be lifted, as well as direction from Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball, and the Midwest League. We guess that old saying is correct: “patience is a virtue.”

In the meantime, we have been working on plans for all our ticket holders and buyers, for when we do receive an update … and we are excited about the ideas we are working on. You know us, we take great care of our customers, and we think you will be pleased with the direction we are heading. If you can hold on a little longer, we will send you these options once a decision on the season has been made final.

DRAGONS 5K RACE
In addition, the Dragons 5K has gone VIRTUAL for 2020! Our top priority is public safety and we feel a strong responsibility to our 5K participants, fans, staff, and volunteers; therefore, we felt it best to switch our race to a virtual one for this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. What this means is that you can register for the race, then run, walk, or hike your own Dragons 5K in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or at a local park, and then input your time online. If you aren’t able to do the 5K distance all in one setting – you can do what you can and time that portion and then add it up for your final time – it’s extremely flexible. You will still receive your swag bag of items including the 5K t-shirt, medal, and Dragons hat (we will have to reach out to you by email regarding the four (4) lawn tickets to a Dragons game once we know more regarding our season). Click HERE to sign up!

VIRTUAL GAME PROGRAM
PS – Don’t forget to catch the latest issue of our Digital PlayBall! Program HERE. Be sure to enter the Fan Giveaway for a signed baseball from Tom Browning and $50 to the Dragons Den team store online!

Thank you for your patience. Please stay safe.
