· Our mission is to make a lasting difference in our members’ lives by improving their health and wellbeing. Due to the current crisis, many people will have to make some unexpected decisions regarding their health care. An electronic version of our brochure that provides basic information on all of the plans CareSource offers is available. If you need actual booklets to provide to your clients, please, let me know. I will be happy to mail the booklets directly to you.
· Due to the high demand of Ohioans applying for Medicaid, Medicaid renewals are not being processed at this time. Medicaid coverage will not be lost because you have not been able to complete the renewal process. Further communication will be made available in the coming weeks as this health emergency stabilizes.
· Ohioans can apply for unemployment benefits online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at unemployment.ohio.gov. It is also possible to file by phone at 877-644-6562 or TTY at 888-642-8203, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Employers with questions should email This email address is being protected from spambots. · Our Nurse Advice Line is still open 24/7. You can speak to a registered nurse by calling 1-866-206-9599 (TTY: 711).
