The Mall at Fairfield Commons Welcomes Round1 Entertainment

Property to host grand opening event on Nov. 23

BEAVERCREEK, OHIO (November 12, 2019) – Round1 Entertainment, a state-of-the-art global bowling and entertainment concept, will open its first central Ohio location at The Mall at Fairfield Commons this fall. Round1, located in the lower level of the former Sears, will hold its grand opening celebration on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The grand opening event on Nov. 23 will include special giveaways for guests. The first 200 customers will receive a free, limited edition t-shirt with any purchase, excluding food and beverage. Guests that stop by during the grand opening between 10 a.m. and noon will be entered to win one $250 game card and five $50 game cards.

Round1 Entertainment is a bowling and entertainment concept offering karaoke, dining, arcade games and more. The over 51,000-square-foot location at Fairfield Commons will feature 12 bowling lanes, over 250 arcade games, food, bar, and dining area.

“2019 has been a transformative year at the Mall at Fairfield Commons, and we are thrilled to continue our growth with the opening of Round1,” said Leanne Rubosky, General Manager at The Mall at Fairfield Commons. “Round1 fits with our mission to provide spaces for the whole family to gather together. We are honored that the Round1 team chose Fairfield Commons for their first central Ohio location.”

Round 1 has more than 35 locations in the U.S., with dozens more planned for the future as part of its rapid expansion. The Fairfield Commons location is only the second Round1 in Ohio, and the only one in the central part of the state. The Round1 at Great Lakes Mall in Mentor, Ohio, opened in 2018.

Round1 is just one illustration of the dynamic mix of tenants at The Mall at Fairfield Commons, where Washington Prime Group has undertaken a multimillion dollar investment to reimagine the guest experience over the past several years. More than a dozen new tenants are making their home at Fairfield Commons, providing places for guests to shop, dine, and gather together.

2020 will bring even more unique additions, with The RoomPlace, Burlap & Birch, and Curve & Cloth all set to open in early 2020. The RoomPlace, a family-owned furniture store, will replace the upper level of the former Sears. Burlap & Birch, an Ohio-based home décor company, and Curve & Cloth, an affordable women’s clothing (XL-4X) and lifestyle store, will be located near Round1.
