At this session, we will answer questions and actively help with the application process - please plan to attend for 20-30 minutes.
To register for the TechCred program, you will need to bring the following:
- Federal Tax ID
- Supplier ID (to register go to : https://supplier.ohio.gov and follow the prompts)
- Company information (name, address, etc.)- As registered with the state of Ohio
- Company contact information
- Credential information
- Identification of the skills need and employees to be trained

From the office of Lt. Governor Jon Husted: Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced the launch of TechCred, a program that connects businesses with the talent they need and gives employees the ability to earn industry-recognized, technology-focused, credentials, better preparing them for a job in today's advanced, technology-infused economy.
Through TechCred, businesses can identify the specific qualifications they need and employees they want to upskill toward a more advanced position. In partnership with a training provider, the employer can apply online to be reimbursed up to $2,000* of training costs upon completion of a credential.
*$2,000 per employee, up to $30,000 total available per funding round. _____________________________________________________________________

Employers can request a credential be added to the eligible list by submitting an application to be reviewed.
The online application period begins October 1, 2019. TechCred is a competitive, merit-based program.
