Pinecrest Swim Club Invites First Responders
Pinecrest Swim Club is hosting a “First Responders Appreciation Weekend” on July 27th and 28th. All Xenia area first responders and immediate family members are invited to enjoy a day at the pool as guests of Pinecrest Swim Club. “While we have lots of fun at the pool, safety is our primary focus.” according to Pinecrest Club President Cindy George. “We want to show our first responders how grateful we are that they are always there for us should an emergency arise at the pool.”
Pinecrest is a membership-based pool located at 520 Wilson Drive in Xenia. The pool has been in operation for over 60 years. Pool hours are 11:00 am - 8:00 pm on Saturday the 28th and 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday the 29th. The pool is also the home of the Pinecrest Piranhas summer swim team, which competes in the Greater Dayton Swim Association league.
The last weekend in July will also mark the beginning of the 2020 Trial Membership Special. One year of trial membership, at a reduced rate, is available to new members. This affords an opportunity to check out the pool for a summer before making a more long-term membership commitment. Those who sign up and pay for a 2020 trial membership will have trial membership status for August 2019, as well. Prospective members can come to the pool on July 28th and 29th for a tour and/or pick up informational paperwork. More detailed information is available at the Pinecrest Swim Club website: www.pinecrestswimclub.com or the Pinecrest Swim Club Facebook page.
