Sarah Ater and Julie Ross will present an overview of sacramental records and how to access and interpret them, as well as the history of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Sarah is the archivist for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, having previously worked for the Diocese of Owensboro and the Ursuline Sisters of Mount St. Joseph. She received her Master’s in Library Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Julie has over 45 years of experience researching her family history. She is currently the Catholic Archives Liaison for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. As a member of the Hamilton County Genealogy Society, she has served as Editor of The Tracer, and as Membership Director. This class is co-sponsored by the Greene County Room﹘Local History & Genealogy and the Greene County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society.
