Organization
Company Description
Tecumseh Council serves youth in five Ohio counties: Logan, Champaign, Clark, Greene and Clinton.
Since 1923, Tecumseh Council has been successfully providing quality Scouting programs to thousands and thousands of young people.
Today, we serve more than 1,400 youth members in 90 units. More than 1,000 dedicated adult volunteers support our ongoing efforts to deliver the Boy Scouts of America's goals to our youth members throughout our council.
We do this through Cub Scout Packs where youth develop the foundations for leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through fun activities involving parents and legal guardians. Cub Scouts is for boys and girls, kindergarten to 5th grade. Scouts BSA Troops, the traditional Scouting program, where youth develop outdoor survival skills, self-confidence, and ethics through youth planned activities with increased attention to service, community engagement, and leadership. Scouts BSA Troops are single gender troops but a boy Troop and a girl Troop may be linked and do many things together. Scouts BSA is for Boys and Girls ages 11 – 17. Venture Crews where boys and girls ages 14-20, experience positive mentorship and develop leadership skills in a fun, supportive environment.
