Company Description
Victoria's Bed and Breakfast, part of the Xenia Historical Walking Tour, was built in 1881 by John Allen, a Xenia banker and member of the Ohio House of Representatives. It is an Eastlake style Victorian mansion with high ceilings, original wood trim, etched and stained glass windows, 25 rooms, 30 chandeliers, and 9 fireplace mantles. We believe Helen Hooven Santmyer used some literary license and combined this house with the large mansion next door to make up the "house" featured in her best selling book, ..."And Ladies of The Club". If you are interested in more history of the house, Xenia or Greene Country, ask your host for a tour. The house has four air-conditioned bedrooms with private bath, to rent. Our whole house rentals including 4 bedrooms and all public rooms, are economical and very popular for small conferences, dinners, weddings and parties.
