The Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance (SOCA) is a not-for-profit organization whose objective is to connect state-wide Chambers of Commerce with the best possible benefits through our collective bargaining power. Our membership is made up of Chambers of Commerce, not individual businesses. SOCA membership consists of more than 100 Chambers of Commerce, representing tens of thousands of businesses throughout the State of Ohio!

As the Relationship Manager, you will manage SOCA’s tactical relationships with Chambers of Commerce and selected benefit providers and is focused on enrollment growth. This role will be fun, challenging and rewarding.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Serve as a valued member of the Leadership Team
• Grow enrollment in all SOCA programs
• Lead business development by prospecting potential new benefit providers, developing stronger relationships with the current benefit providers that increase sales, assisting benefit providers in working with Chambers of Commerce, etc.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Chambers of Commerce
• Educate Chambers of Commerce and their members about SOCA programs
• Develop, schedule and host programming for chambers of commerce via zoom or in person
• Oversee, coordinate, and communicate event planning activities
• Ensure field level compliance of Marketing agreements by Chambers of Commerce

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years related professional sales and relationship management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong public speaking skills
• Must have valid driver license and ability to travel throughout Ohio
• Experience working with Chambers of Commerce preferred
• Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams), Salesforce or equivalent CRM and Zoom or other video conferencing software
• Understands and successfully manage conflict
• Willingness to continue learning new skills relevant to the position
