Golf Course History and Geology

XENIA – On Monday, June 12, 2023, starting at 7 PM in the Brantley Carriage House, 74 West Church St., Greene County Ohio Historical Society members and friends will hear about the WGC Golf Course in Xenia. Chris Goecke will be the speaker. Voted the #1 Course In Greene County, year after year, WGC Golf Course is a championship 18 hole facility on Country Club Drive. Designed by Jack Kidwell and Mike Hurdzan, WGC has lush Rye Grass fairways. It also offers one of the best practice facilities in the Miami Valley, according to their website.

This event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served at the meeting. The Historical Society museum is located at 74 West Church St in Xenia.
