Community Calendar
Beginning Genealogy for ages 18+ will be held at Xenia Community Library in the Greene County Room on Sat., Apr. 20, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. This class for beginning and intermediate genealogical researches, taught by Diana Nelson, will show you how to use censuses, birth, marriage and death records, online databases, newspaper resources, and much more. Class materials will be provided. Lunch is on your own; if you bring a sack lunch, you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Diana has been working on her family history for over 25 years, starting with her great aunt’s work from the 1940s and 1950s. She began working with DNA in 2008 and has tested over a dozen members of her own family as well as her husband’s.
