Greene County Parks & Trails Offers Beginning Beekeeping Class

Greene County Parks & Trails offers beginning beekeeping class series

Join expert beekeeper Bill Starrett to earn how to raise bees, types of hive equipment, products of the hive and even how to set up a hive at the beginning beekeeping class series offered by Greene County Parks & Trails from 7 to 8:30 p.m., every Thursday, Jan. 31 to March 7, in the Greene County Media Room, 541 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia.

“With the increased interest in beekeeping and raising our own food, we expect this program to fill up quickly,” says Greene County Parks & Trails Chief Naturalist Mel Grosvenor.

Cost for the series is $50; class size is limited.
