Greene County Parks & Trails Hosts Night Ride

GCP&T Trail Sentinels to lead two night rides featuring region’s trails in May

Enjoy a free evening bicycle ride escorted by Greene County Parks & Trails (GCP&T) Trail Sentinels beginning at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 4, from Xenia Station to Fifth-Third Gateway Park, Beavercreek, and  7 p.m., Saturday, May 18, from Xenia Station to McDonald’s, Jamestown.

Participants must be over the age of 18, wear a helmet and have lights.  Rides will be cancelled in case of a thunderstorm. The monthly night rides feature the nation’s largest paved trails network.

Easily recognized by their Greene County Parks & Trails uniform shirt and jacket, the all-volunteer trail sentinels are trained by completing a CPR certification class and a skilled performance procedure.
