Don’t Play Hopscotch: Formulating An Effective Research Plan for ages 18+ will be held at Xenia Community Library on Sat., Aug. 4, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. A research plan is more than a to-do list. It’s a way of approaching a genealogy problem and working out how to solve it. In the process, you’ll be less frustrated (because you won’t wonder what to do next) and more productive (because you won’t waste time spinning your wheels). Amy Johnson Crow will detail the steps involved in formulating an effective research plan that ensures your genealogical research is productive and fun! Amy is a Certified Genealogist with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in Ohio research, especially counties in the central and southeastern part of the state. She is a member of First Families of Ohio and a charter member of Society of Civil War Families of Ohio. She is an active blogger at her site www.amyjohnsoncrow.com. This program is co-sponsored by the Greene County Room—Local History & Genealogy and the Greene County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society.
