Make your rain barrel with Greene County Parks & Trails
Join Greene County Parks & Trails for a seminar on making your own rain barrel from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 12, at Russ Nature Reserve, 2380 Kemp Rd., Beavercreek.
Water from a rain barrel can be used to help water during a summer drought. Participants will learn how rain barrels can save on water costs, how to maintain a rain barrel, how to place barrels and cleaning instructions. All fittings and supplies will be included.
Barrels are limited so register no later than May 7; fee per barrel is $25.
