GCP&T host new “Morning Miler” rides on various paved trails, off-trail routes

Greene County Parks & Trails and its Trail Sentinels will host a series of new “Morning Miler” rides on Saturday(s) with all rides beginning at 9 a.m.

With the success of the  GCP Night Rides, the Morning Miler Rides have been added to the year’s schedule of cycling events.

The rides are designated for intermediate cyclists and will feature routes on both paved trails and off-trail riding. All cyclist must be 18 or older and wear a helmet.  Rides will be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm.

Rides will be scheduled:

May 12 - Beavercreek  Station to Fayette Co. Line (34 miles)
May 26 - Beavercreek Station to Yellow Springs Station (36 miles)
June 2 - Beavercreek Station to Spring Valley (30 miles)
June 16 - Xenia Station to Shawnee Lake (Jamestown) (25 miles)
July 14 - Xenia Station to New Burlington Road (27 miles)
August 4 - Beavercreek Station to southeast Xenia (28 miles)
August 18 - Beavercreek Station-Xenia Station-south Xenia (26 miles)
Sept. 1 - Xenia Station towards Jamestown (20 miles)
Sept. 15 - Beavercreek Station-Xenia Station-south Xenia (30 miles)
Oct. 13 - Beavercreek Station to southeast Xenia (24 miles)
