Greene County Parks & Trails Hosts Wood-Warbler Weekend

Greene County Parks & Trails host Wood Warbler Weekend trip to northern Ohio

Join Greene County Parks & Trails (GCP&T) for a two-night trip to Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge and surrounding conservation areas known as the Warbler Capitol of the World with participants leaving from the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek, at 10 a.m., Friday, May 17, and returning at 5 p.m., Sunday, May 19, to the Narrows Reserve.

Participants over the age of 18 will travel with GCP&T naturalist and expert birder Jared Merriman for a weekend filled with warblers and other spring migrants in this Globally Important Bird Area.
            
Cost for the program is $250 with a reduced couples rate of $400. Couples must call 937.562.6440 to register for the reduced rate; pre-registration required by May 3.  Two overnight stays, two breakfasts and two lunches are included.
