Join the Montgomery County Master Gardeners for a day of learning at Walnut Grove Country Club (5050 Linden Ave Dayton) on Weds June 13 9:30 – 3:30 with guest speaker Tracy DiSabato-Aust. Tracy is sought internationally for gardening skills she perfected here in her Ohio gardens. In the morning program, she will discuss the design fundamentals of garden building using trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and bulbs, helping us choose from the wide palette of plant material to create gorgeous and environmentally sound mixed beds. After lunch she will teach us the enviable skills of pruning perennials to extend their season, control pests and even coordinate their bloom time for an important event, Cost of $50 for public or $35 for Master Gardeners includes a continental breakfast, lunch and 3.5 CEUs for MGVs.
