GCP&T Trail Sentinels to lead new “Morning Milers” ride featuring region’s trails, roads
Enjoy a free morning bicycle ride escorted by Greene County Parks & Trails (GCP&T) Trail Sentinels from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 24, from Beavercreek Station.
Cyclists will ride 32 miles from Beavercreek Station to Jamestown on the Creekside Trail and the Xenia-Jamestown Connector.
This new series of morning rides will feature both paved trails and short, off-trail routes. The ride is for beginner skill levels.
Participants must be over the age of 18, wear a helmet and have lights. Rides will be cancelled in case of a thunderstorm.
Easily recognized by their Greene County Parks and Trails uniform shirt and jacket, trail sentinels are trained by completing a CPR certification class and a skilled performance procedure.
