Greene County Parks & Trails’ Host Winter Tree ID Program

Greene County Parks & Trails will host a winter tree identification seminar from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek.

Winter may seem a challenging time to identify trees but participants will learn a few tricks from staff naturalists.  The program will end with a hands-on tree identification.

Training will be indoors/outdoors; participants must be 18 years and older and need to dress for the weather.

The program is free but donations are accepted.
