X*ACT presents "The Hound of the Baskervilles", the classic Shelock Holmes tale of horror adapted by Tim Kelly and directed by our own Tony Copper. Our Opening Night GALA will be Friday, October 27 at 6:30 pm and will feature light hors d’oeuvres and a wine tasting sponsored by Caesar Creek Vineyards. Additional shows at 7:30 pm on October 29, November 3 & 4. The two week run closes with a 3 pm Sunday Matinee on November 5.

Tickets are available by calling the theater at 937-372-0516 or online through the website XeniaACT.org. Tickets are just $17 , General Admission, or $14 for Seniors and Students. The Opening Night GALA fundraiser is priced at $20 for all seats.

Holmes’ most spine-chilling mystery is placed in a modern setting in this version – with suspense, humor, and terror. Sir Henry is heir to the vast Baskerville fortune, a legacy that comes with a family curse: death at the fangs of a horror that prowls the moor. Only Holmes can stop the beast. While mysterious lights signal Baskerville Hall and the hound terrifies the countryside, the sleuthing begins and suspicion falls on sinister servants, butterfly collectors, ladies in distress, and escaped convicts. Who wrote the letter that summoned the hound? Is Sir Henry’s romance with the lovely Kathy doomed? Is the supernatural at work?
