Annual Awards Dinner

F.M. Torrence Award

The Award is named for the first Chamber President, Findley M. Torrence. This lifetime achievement award honors a person who unselfishly, through a prolonged period of voluntary services and activities, promotes the business, cultural, educational, religious and civic life in the Xenia community. The recipient must currently be, or must have been during the majority of such service, a member of the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce.

Dodds Monument – Industrial Award

Purpose: To publicly recognize a company that has distinguished itself in the manufacturing or research and development industry, or in distribution and warehousing.

Eligibility: Any Chamber Member business of the above type in good standing.

Russ Remick Retail-Service Industries Award

Purpose: To publicly recognize a company that has distinguished itself in the retail and/or service industry.

Eligibility: Any retail or service Chamber Member business or organization in good standing.

S.L. Stephan Award

Purpose: This Award is presented to a person who has worked unselfishly, through voluntary services, to promote the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce and our Community for at least the past two years.

Barbara Zajbel Ambassador Award

Purpose: To publicly recognize an individual, organization or business that is an advocate and champion of Xenia and has a history of promoting Xenia locally, regionally, nationally and/or internationally.

Sheriff Gene Fischer HERO Award

Purpose: This Award is presented to recognize a local first responder who has or continues to, dedicate and sacrifice to protect and keep us safe.

Robert G. Babb Award

Purpose: This Award is presented by the Xenia Area Chamber’s Chairman of the Board to the person who during the year made the most significant contribution to the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce.
