Wichman, Newell and Stephan Celebrate Grand Opening of Recently Expanded Office

The Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors reluctantly accepted the resignation and retirement of its President/CEO, Barb Zajbel, at the July 25, 2008 Board Meeting. The retirement will be effective November 1, 2008, until which time Barb Is on medical leave.

On May 30, 2008, the Board of Directors of the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce unanimously voted to oppose a proposed Ohio constitutional amendment that mandates paid sick leave. Signatures are currently being collected by supporters of this amendment, which is misleadingly named the “Healthy Families” Act, in order to place it on the November ballot.
